JAKE NELSON

Hailing from Arlington, MN by way of White Bear Lake, Jake Nelson has been a staple of the Minnesota music scene for nearly seven years. He planted his flag as an original country singer/songwriter in 2015 with the release of his first album “Full Swing." He continued to refine his songwriting, formed his own band, and set off playing shows across the upper Midwest in support of his self-titled and self produced second album “Jake Nelson” in 2017. Breaking into radio and getting opening slots for national recording artists wasn’t easy but his infectious, hook-laden country songs with heart like "Whiskey Burns," "Grew Up Home," and "Double Life" made it easy as radio stations and promoters across the country added him to their roster of artists. In 2018, "You're Not Alone" from this album won Midwest Country Music Association’s song and video of the year for his poignant take on suicide prevention. Jake’s third album “Worth It”was released in 2020 with the song “SPF You and Me” quickly became the hit of the summer with several others such as “I Can Only Be Me,” “Worth It,” and “Three Big Little Words” also receiving radio play. You can catch Jake and his band playing everything from his local bar to the biggest stages in support of such acts as Sara Evans, Craig Morgan, Rodney Atkins, Dylan Scott, and Joe Nichols.
